The Seymour Deluxe provides a cost-effective and straightforward way to create additional usable space within your garden.
Its contemporary wood-look appearance and low-maintenance composite construction make it an attractive alternative to a conventional timber summer house. Depending on how it is prepared and fitted out, it can be used for relaxing, hobbies, entertaining, working from home or general outdoor storage.
The garden room also includes a 3m-wide canopy, creating a covered outdoor area alongside the enclosed internal space.
The Seymour Deluxe is manufactured using co-extruded wood-plastic composite, commonly known as WPC.
This material provides the warm appearance of timber with considerably lower routine maintenance requirements. The wall boards do not need to be regularly painted or stained, helping reduce the time and cost associated with maintaining a traditional wooden garden building.
The composite wall boards are:
The Seymour Deluxe can be adapted for a range of garden uses, including:
If the room will be used regularly for working or relaxing, consider insulation, ventilation, heating, electricity and internet access as part of the wider installation.
The Seymour Deluxe includes single-glazed aluminium French doors.
The wide opening provides convenient access, while the glazing allows natural light into the room. The fully lockable door system also helps secure the building and its contents when it is not being used.
A 3m-wide canopy is included with The Seymour Deluxe and can be attached to either side of the garden room.
This allows you to choose the layout that best suits the available garden space, access route and position of the building. The canopy creates a useful covered outdoor area for seating, equipment or entertaining.
Confirm the preferred canopy position and ensure sufficient space is available before preparing the base.
The roof structure is formed using tongue-and-groove composite boards.
For increased weather resistance and long-term roof protection, the garden room can be upgraded with a rubber roof for an additional £490 + VAT.
Review the roof specification and installation requirements before ordering to determine whether the optional upgrade is appropriate for your project.
The Seymour Deluxe does not include an internal floor.
A suitable base and floor must be designed and prepared separately before the garden room is assembled. The completed base must be firm, stable, level and appropriately sized for both the enclosed room and canopy.
When planning the base, account for:
An unsuitable or uneven base may affect the alignment and long-term performance of the garden room.
The Seymour Deluxe is supplied with prefabricated, pre-cut components designed to simplify assembly and reduce the number of specialist tools required.
With the correct base prepared in advance, the garden room may be installed in as little as one day. Actual installation time will depend on:
Always follow the supplied assembly instructions and use the recommended fixings and installation methods.
The composite walls require considerably less routine maintenance than a traditional timber garden building.
They do not need regular painting or staining. However, the building should still be cleaned and inspected periodically.
Routine care should include:
